Sirius Minerals. As foretold!

It’s becoming patently obvious that Sirius Minerals are on a charge. The last FEW MONTHS HAS SEEN THE SP TRENDING UP. OF COURSE THERE’S BEEN AN AWFUL LOT OF NEWS ON THE COMPANY SINCE WE FIRST HIGH-LIGHTED THEM IN MAY OF THIS YEAR!

But it looks like we called this one spot on have a read below from our May post! Chalk another one up for the Blog!

Potash mining for fertilizer

Another one up over 100%

Daniel

You’re all aware of the Chinese and world demand for POTASH it’s a very sought after mineral. Well here’s a company that I’ve been tracking for quite some time I’ve never posted on them and they have spiked last year to over 20p on news that the Red Peril (Chinese) were sniffing around them.

Sirius Minerals today announced funding of £20 million pounds via a placing at 13p per share. The proceeds of which will now be used to further their assets in UK,USA,AUS.

“Its primary focus is to bring on stream major potash mining facilities through the acquisition and development of projects overlying recognised potash deposits. Today it holds properties in the United Kingdom (North Yorkshire), the United States (North Dakota), and Australia (Queensland and Western Australia).”

Now there seems to be some confusion among private Investors as to the company aims and potential future value. So I’ll post some information directly from the company for Investors to peruse.

Williston Basin in North Dakota
31% of recent global potash (KCl) production came from the Williston Basin in Canada
Estimates* of 50 billion tonnes of Potash in North Dakota
Sirius holds 50km2 of claims
Close to rail, gas, and water

Australia   Adavale Location
602km2 of claims
50km south of Blackall
Drilling sites identified from recently completed seismic interpretation
Significant volumes of salt targets
Chlor-alkali potential
0 to 500 metres thick
Approximately 100bn tonnes
Significant Potash known to exist in Adavale
Historical drilling and assay results suggest 41% KCl in Boree
MOU with Sino Agri signed  (Chinese interest)

Australia Canning Basin

2,298km2 of claims
200km SE of Broome
Existing data from prior Rio Tinto
exploration
Mallowa salts underlay the claims approx 450 metres thick at a depth of 550 metres. Identified as prospective for economic potash mineralization (RTX Report No. 28496)
Seismic and drilling targets currently being generated

***The North Yorkshire play has the potential to become one of the world’s largest polyhalite deposits.***

Sirius are well on course to potentially become one of the biggest Global suppliers of POTASH on planet earth.

Now what makes SIRIUS different in my eyes is the locality of their assets ALL are in First world country’s where infrastructure  and political stability are a GIVEN. They also are partnered with many Leading Industry  experts and two of their board hold hefty chunks of stock totaling nearly a quarter of the company! . But the cherry on the Sirius cake is the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Sino Agri re’ Adavale Australia as this gives Sino Agri a foot-hold in to the company through Adavale. The Chinese are hungry for minerals of all kinds in particular POTASH and Sirius have access to vast amounts!

The sp here is destined to rise on any good news, particulary towards the end of this year as Sirius look towards firming up their asset potential with various scoping studies etc. could double should double from where they are now (12p) as the Sirius Powerhouse project developes on through out 2011! Etc Etc (THE REST AS THEY SAY IS NOW HISTORY!)

And please research!

Viva!

Dan

    You never post your losses?

There unfortunately seems to be many more losers then winners that you put up on this blog, but you only seem to mention the later.

I’d strongly disagree with you there. I’m down on San Leon,MTA,Roxi. I have posted on these after they dropped (see archives) The problem you have Bill is that you don’t visit often enough to keep apace with the Blog musings. I do not invest in every stock I write an article on. Take Sefton I wrote on them when they were 1.8p two weeks later they were 9p! I never invested just thought they were worth a decent article due to their asset/potential. There’s too many out there who post rubbish when a stock written about on here dips down. Take Encore oil I wrote on them when they were sub 50p. After 12 months the stock came back to 70p! after hitting 155p. Now is that a failure or a loss bearing in mind that people had plenty of time to derisk and take profit? It’s one of subjectivity for some while others are objective.

      Cheers

Encore,Haike, xcite, rkh, sefton, avesco, petrolatina, nautical, bezant, gkp, serica, matra, petroceltic. These are just a few of the stuff he’s got right they all went up over time by hundreds of percentage points. Its your decision to buy an sell not this kids. San leon down big time Dans never told it any other way he’s straight as a bat. Check out the search facility if you need to research back. Most of the time his opinions are bang on center . Yeah occassionaly companys like matra fail for one reason or another . It’s not Dans fault Matra cant get the oil out its the companies. the fact is that they’ve got 60 million barrels under the ground and a piss poor russian drilling crew!

There’s no pleasing some folk Dan.
You wrote on Haike Chemical. I kept my eye on them and they rose over 200% over 3 months. Thyre now down to 42p that’s the way of the meerkat Bill you cant blame anyone for it stocks go up stocks go down. Dan is heavily in matra he’s losing only if he sells hes holding for production just like me. They get it in the end the stock will fly up then it will go down then up then down then up but the trend will be upwards as production brings cash.
