Dan I wonder how much people have lost on MTA after trusting your opinions.

Listen it is up to each investor to RESEARCH THEIR OWN INVESTMENTS do not try to pass the buck onto the blog for an OIL COMPANY releasing a disappointing result re’ the low bopd. They are now producing approx 250 bopd last year they produced zilch. I am heavily invested in Matra and although showing a loss I am more than happy to continue to hold. I have increased my holding and will continue to when I feel it is right for me to do so. My opinion is germane to the Blog.

I don’t think anyone believes anybody with regard Matra Petroleum. So far they have not come up with the goods. False hopes, lousy timescales and unachievable projections. They have zero credibility left not that they had much before this. It makes you wonder why Delek bothers with them. How are they going to fund A14? How long before they shut in A12 again? How are they managing to separate the water from A12 as they do NOT have that facility on site (yet)? I doubt they will be achieving $13 barrel with having to deal with the water cut. All in all it’s not looking good Dan.

    Dan,
to be honest my patience with this feeble excuse for an oil company has now utterly come to an end and I also think your credibility will be in question if you continue to champion their cause. Their ops are a jok and so are thei investor relations. Everybodys patience has been stretched to the limi over the last few years and even their attempt at good news has mo positive effect on the SP. Give it up I say!!!!

Dan, I think you are losing your objectivity here. You say you are heavily invested in Matra, could it be that you are so desparate for MTA to come good that you are ignoring the obvious?

    • Brokerman says:

Well that’s a good point you raise and I have tried to remain objective in my reasoning but for the life of me the fundamental reasons for investing have not changed. They are debt free Delek are more than supportive, they have a minimum of 15 million barrels of oil probably much much more. They are now producing at reduced rates from what they would like to,they have seismic in hand for A14 with MORE planned seismic to shoot. I can’t help but like the company it’s only a question of time before they pull it out for investors. There’s no point trying to day-trade them if you’re in then decide to stay or leave it’s quite simple I’m staying in however I will have to de-risk at some point in the future.

Dont blame dan for it, he gave everyone the info on whats it about so our own decisions end of the day. Im in at 4.2p but will ride it out for be it 1 year, 2 years or next 5 years, purely due to stubborness now, and if it all goes down then so be it. Just gotta hope for the best and stay positive regardless. All this chat about , losing this losing that, well just turn off your pcs/laptops and come back end of the year.
