Hundreds of emails so far this week asking for Blogs on various companys.
Unfortunately as it now stands this week it is continuing to be rather hectic with the ongoing problems in Japan,Libya and the Middle East in general. I have several posts awaiting publication but feel it prudent to hold off until the market settles plus this will give the Blog a wee bit of a breathing space from the Traders and Market Makers who are using the posts to increase their margins.
It’s going to be a very good day here today for the markets as a bounce is generally accepted to be on the way. So long as we don’t get 4 melt-downs in Japan then Globally all will begin to settle down. Give it 3 months and most will have moved on. There are some terrific bargains out there in the markets so get researching. I will of course publish the weekly round-up and the weekend news as per usual. The web-site is as I pen this well on its way to fruition. Hooray.
Big things are happening. The next stage of the BMD R/evolution is nearly here.
Viva!

I’m begining to realise that perhap’s it is best to leave a % off one’s portfolio in cash to take advantage off these opportunities?
And if so how much, but it wouldn’t be working for you whilst in cash
Take a well deserved break Dan…..!
Awaiting in anticipation for the next stage, all the best Danny.
HDY. Hardy oil had a good RNS today.
EO is a good price ATM .
Thanks
Dan, I seem to get the impression that a certain clique of well connected punters regularly arrange “a little something for the weekend”. for themselves, using such as lloyds as a vehicle to pull it off. Its all very subtle, nothing startling but could net a thousand or two, while being careful to wipe out the gains made to the share price at the end of the day. I wonder if they have a time to place their bets and yet another time to “pull out”. As I have mentioned before, is it worth a similar ploy. Currently, most of us dont realise youve posted your blog until we get round to the mail, I thought this method would allow a concerted effort, by bringing about an increase in the price of a specific share. Question. But, would it catch the market makers on the hop or would they be able to respond quick enought to block us?
Regards BM
Brian, worth being careful. From what I understand, what you are proposing is market manipulation, and hence illegal.
What we are trying to do Brian is to assist genuine investors to decide on their investments. Now the trick here is to source genuine information that is known to the market elite/institutions but not to the private investor. IE the information is premium material, what Brokerages use when assessing risk for their elite client base. Quite legal.

Hi Dan
Just joined your site but been following for couple of months and am impressed. I started with very small investment in NPE in 2009 but started a small oil and mining portfolio at end of last year. Most are in the red this past week but I’m both nervous and excited and hoping to make a little from this portfolio when or if things improve.
Thank you for all the hard work you do and for sharing your knowledge with people like me. I’m not quite sure why you do, but thank you anyway.
Couple of name suggestions for your new web site.
“Che Dan”

Good Luck
