DESIRE RUMOURS of oil?

STS-133 Discovery (201011030001HQ)

Oil shows and smells

Yes we’ve been following Desire and we here are well aware of the huge interest currently taking place re’ the Rachel North drill. Many emails asking for information absolutely snowed under.

The reason why the stock is behaving wildly is due to unconfirmed rumours circulating within the city brokerages and beyond (ie internet) that Desire may very well be on the money at Rachel North. The drill is thought to be going extremely well sources from within  are rumoured to be talking of encouraging signs ie oil shows and the strong smell of crude as the drill keeps progressing. A possible oil strike apparently is accompanied by signs such as these.

Good luck!

Ha Ha Ha. Desire have oil do they? Like every other time they “had” oil!!! A wise investor would “invest” in Rockhopper and then sit and wait for the re-appraisal. If Desire hit oil then great, Rockhopper get 7.5% of it, if they don’t then Rockhopper still has 1XXmillion barrels minimum of oil.

Desire is a huge gamble that, in my opinion, will not show its shareholders anything but the smug grins of “told you so’s”.

why the collapse in the if what you have wrote has any credence ?

    • Brokerman says:

There rumours. Nothing more nothing else that’s what has been driving the wild price fluctuations.
You pay your money you take your chance! Credence? A rumour is a rumour there’s no credence for or against a rumour!

  4. Chad13451 says:

Down 20%…..the profit takers and rampers dupe the pi’s again.

  5. TJ says:

I think Danny boy may be locked into this one! Certainly changed your tune on desire since previous posts on them. I got stung on the first Rachel drill and wont make the same mistake again.

    • Brokerman says:

I think you’ll find that I have not.
There are over 220 emails/twitter direct messages asking for why the stock is behaving so wildly. The post is merely responding to the inundated mail bag informing them why. As for wishing people who hold desire stock “good luck” it is common courtsey never to wish any investors bad luck..

Fair enough, always appreciate your views!

Desire is one of the mist ridiculos shares i have ever had the (mis)fortune of investing in.

It fluctuates on rumours a lot worse then most thats for sure!

  6. Chad13451 says:

Plus its affecting my other holding as people pull out and put there money into DES!!! Damn. 2 dropped 5% from a good + position today.

    Dan

since your desire post share price has fallen, rumours i am hearing non commercial.

    re £1.01 close

too all get out or do not invest !

    • Brokerman says:

The fluctuations over the last few days are a direct result of oil shows and no oil show rumours. The post isn’t confirming either merely explaning why the stock is yo yoing.

    • Gary Latham says:

Dan, remember your comments about Desire and “you having more oil in your car” I sold my shares in that company after you totally slated it, you do like to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds dont you?

I cant seem to add this to the XEL comments on previous posts.
And you dont have a XEL sub catagory on your Favority Companies (as you havn’t invested in them).

But, anyone who is watching the progress and getting nervous may be interested in this website to track the Tankers progress. (select Betty Knutsen vessel)
